Welcome to Build Your First AI Tool. By the end of this course you will have a real, working AI-powered tool that you built yourself — without writing any code.

What Exactly Are We Building?

We are going to build an AI-powered text tool. Specifically, you will choose one of these options based on your goals:

An AI CV Reviewer — Paste in a CV and get instant improvement suggestions
An AI Email Writer — Describe a situation and get a professional email drafted
An AI Business Idea Generator — Enter your skills and get startup ideas

All three follow the same process. Pick the one that excites you most.

Why Build Your Own Tool?

You might be thinking — why build something when ChatGPT already does all of this?

Here is the difference:

Your tool is focused — It does one thing very well, with instructions tailored exactly how you want
Your tool is shareable — You can give the link to anyone. They do not need a ChatGPT account
Your tool is yours — You can sell it, use it in your business, or add it to your portfolio
Building teaches you — The process of building gives you skills you cannot get from just using AI

What You Will Need

A laptop or desktop computer
A free account on a no-code platform (we will set this up in lesson 2)
A free OpenAI or Anthropic API key (we will get this in lesson 3)
About 3 hours across all 10 lessons

No Coding Required

Everything in this course uses visual, drag-and-drop tools. You will not write a single line of code. If you can use a smartphone app, you can build an AI tool.
